YogaSandals™ Double as Pedicure Sandals

YogaSandals™ were initially invented and patented as the Spread'ems®, The Upscale Pedicure Sandal®. While wondering about a sturdier solution to flimsy disposable spa sandals, bare feet, or one thong sandals that can ruin polished toenails, Gayle Trenberth, Ph.D. had an idea. What about a sandal with four toe separators that would space each toe from its neighbor? If you had the toe nails polished after putting on such a sandal, you could leave the spa or salon and get on with your day, allowing the toe nails to dry at length, leaving them lustrous for weeks. After some experimentation, Dr. Trenberth invented the Upscale Pedicure Sandal ®. It was a unique sandal that could be used for pedicures and everyday wear. The sandal became wildly popular in spas and salons across the country, being sold in famous locations such as the Canyon Ranch Spas, the salons at the Golden Door, Ritz Carlton, Avon Spa, and the Spa at Amelia Island Plantation. In July, 2004, the Upscale Pedicure Sandal ® became the Beauty Editor’s pick of the month in “O” Magazine. The sandal was also featured in Essence and Shape Magazine. Since that eventful beginning, the sandal has become popular as a yoga sandal and a health sandal.
